Superlambanana is a famous Liverpool (UK) Statue designed by Japanese Artist Taro Chiezo. Karen, who sent this message, was my flatmate when I used to live there back in 2002. Google it, and see all its yellow greatness...

Feed my locket : Remember there is always time for a friend..., originally uploaded by Meb.
Today, a message from my ukulady friend the lovely Krista Muir. I love the print she made and the fact that she managed to put up such a long message on such a small bit of paper. She is an inspiration to me as a songwriter and as a strong creative woman. To help her finance her upcoming project, go to www.kapipal.com/kristamuirlederhosenlucil

This one was sent by my dad : Happy the one who believes. It speaks to me for many reasons. First, it can apply to a variety of things; a god, yourself, something or someone. And also because my dad is somebody who always had faith in me and in himself. At 71, he just started a new job as a security guard. He is a role model for me and I owe a lot of my own confidence to him.

This message is by my husband, Danny who wrote 4 for me. As an artist, it is a chance to share my life with another artist. It makes things easier. We go through the same things, not at the same time, but we truly understand the challenges that a creative life can bring. And it is also inspiring to see the other work. Translation : Accept that you do not know...because uncertainty is an important part of life.

This message was sent by one of my students, singer and songwriter Gabrielle Harnois Blouin. It really is one of the best compliment I have ever received. And it moved me deeply. I can translate it as « thanks for seeing who we are». Here is a link to her music : gabriellehb.bandcamp.com
